Spreading Hope: Our Community Outreach in Garrison Woods

It’s been a little while! It’s been somewhat of a season but I’m starting to get back into the swing of things.

I'm back and excited to share my heartwarming experience serving the Garrison Woods community. The impact was truly sincere, both on the community and on us. Witnessing the joy and gratitude on the faces of families receiving free groceries was a beautiful sight. Children playing and laughing together created an atmosphere of happiness, and those shared moments of connection left a lasting mark on our hearts.

What made it even more special was seeing my own children eagerly engaging with the other kids, playing and having fun together. It warmed my heart to witness their compassion. These moments were so precious to me and I was able to capture some moments on camera (see below).

It’s amazing how acts of kindness can transform lives. It showed us that our purpose extends beyond our immediate surroundings, and by coming together as a community, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. I feel immensely grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful experience that touched not only others but also enriched our own lives.

The kids are out of school and summer is here. I’ve been wanting to bring back my magazine (SB6) for a while now but the timing never seemed right. As I was working on the Aspire to Inspire series I told myself I would create a magazine to accompany it. The inspiration behind the magazine shifted a bit, and my goals aligned with ATI have changed. It happens, especially being a creative.

Introducing PGC (Purely Genuine Content) Magazine - a heartfelt publication born out of my deep love and inspiration for the game of basketball, sparked by the newfound passion of my 9-year-old son. As a father witnessing my son's unwavering dedication to the sport, I felt compelled to create a platform that celebrates not only his journey but also the aspirations of all the young athletes out there. PGC Magazine is a personal project, driven by my desire to showcase the stories of local athletes and coaches, capturing their triumphs, challenges, and the invaluable life lessons learned on and off the court. Through this publication, I hope to inspire and uplift readers of all ages, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with unwavering determination. With captivating visuals, heartfelt interviews, and engaging articles, PGC Magazine is an invitation for you to join me on this incredible journey, where we celebrate the untold stories of youth passion, resilience, and the true spirit of basketball.
